Moving from a test to a production environment using Red hat containers
Imagine a developer wanting to migrate his application with specific configurations from his private work lab to the production of his company or business. The application is peculiar to his lab configuration, libraries, dependencies and files meanwhile his company has configurations standardized to its own environment. How those he get his application to work without any glitch in his business environment? The solutions is containers.
As an emerged open source application, containers enable packaging, isolation and delivery of applications with the flexibility of imaged-based deployments. Red hat Open shift has removed Dockers container engine and now provides us with outstanding command line and Web tools for building, managing and running containers in units referred to as pods (podman, buildah, skopeo and runc).
