So…here’s how to make folks choose you over your competitors. (And yes I know it’s not politically correct to call anyone a competitor these days. They are “colleagues” and it’s all about “community” but that’s all well and good until you find they’re getting all the customers they need and you? Well you are not.)
This is hard-learned stuff I had to apply to my own business when I realised the same six years ago - and yes some are “tried and true” tips but the combo of them together really works!
Let's break it down with 5 steps to winning more clients:
1. Pick Yourself First:
?It all starts within. Spend some quality time working on your own mindset. Get crystal clear on what makes you unique. When people choose you, they're picking a whole experience that only you can deliver.
2. Focus on Benefits, Not Features:
It's not just about what you offer; it's about what they gain. Show your potential clients how their lives will improve by choosing you. (it will. TRUST ME) Paint a picture of the benefits they'll enjoy, and watch them gravitate towards your awesomeness. (And yes. You are awesome)

3. Make Yourself Easily Discoverable:
?Let's be real – if they can't find you, they can't choose you. Whip your website into shape and keep your marketing game consistent. Show your face. Share your voice. Remember - your face and voice won’t kill anyone. People will LOVE you. And remember you. PLUS…When you're a breeze to find, you're a breeze to pick.
4. Forge Genuine Connections:
People need to feel like they're picking someone they know and trust. So, put your personality on display. Share your quirks, style, and unique way of getting things done. When they feel like they know you, the choice becomes a no-brainer. This takes guts - but it’s SO worth it.?
5. Set Brave Boundaries:
When you define your terms and values, you attract the perfect match. Boldly outline how you operate, when you're available, and don’t feel scared to be proud of your pricing. Remember you are worth working with.? And the right people will know it and respect that you value yourself.?
