Moving on from a flopped launch

Moving on from a flopped launch

In 2016 I sold my very first online program and got 0 sales. The second time I launched it I had a higher than industry standard conversion rate, selling 6 spots.

My first 130 email subscribers never purchased anything from me.

I had a beautiful optin and had just finished a massive impactful summit and was SO proud of myself.

And then I launched a self guided program that I called ‘Back to Balance’ sold it at a ridiculously low price and got 0 sales.

That’s right 0.

Those 130 women quickly became 125...120...110...90

I felt like a total failure.

My heart sunk on the last day of seeing 0 sales….I was holding out for maybe just one, or two.

But nothing.

Disheartened doesn’t even cut it.

I mean, isn’t it industry standard to get a 1-5% conversion rate on everything you do?

WRONG!

Ladies if you don’t have the right people and aren’t giving them the right product that will solve their problems, no industry standard is going to get you that $$ and help you create an impact...because your message will ALWAYS fall short.

Want to hear the good news?

I changed it all around a few months later.

That’s right, I got super clear on who I was targeting, rebranded my program and launched it again at a MUCH higher value point and guess what?

5% conversion rate.

When I looked at that number I was SO happy with myself and what I accomplished.

And what was even more amazing was that TWO of those clients signed up for my higher ticket offer because they absolutely LOVED my program.

It can really be that easy.

Define WHO exactly needs your offers, WHY they need them and then invite them to your sales in a way that feels authentic to you.

My program literally changed my clients lives. But I never would have known that if I just saw it as a failure the first time it launched.

Tell me, do you have a similar story?
