Moving on from Euronews

After 14 very enjoyable years at Euronews it’s time to sail this ship towards new horizons and discover different landscapes. It’s been a wonderful journey, with lots of great memories to treasure - the pics here are just some of the wonderful shoots I was lucky enough to go on over the years.
My official leaving date is this Wednesday, Valentine’s Day, which I see as a fabulous omen, heading off surrounded by all that love! :-)
I have to say that I was thrilled recently to be chosen for the job of daytime news presenter for the new EuronewsNBC World channel being launched in the spring, but in the end it was an offer I was not able to accept. So, I went back to my original decision, made last November, to try something new.
I’m joining dozens of fine colleagues who have opted to take advantage of a voluntary redundancy plan and the first priority for me will be to take a break, with lots of deep breaths, and reflect on what I want to do for the next phase of this awesome life adventure.
For me, the greatest thing about Euronews has always been the people, the celebration of so many different cultures and perspectives coming together - and I really hope that spirit continues. I have learnt loads, met some incredible colleagues, worked with some of the best and made some wonderful friends. It really has been such a lot of fun!
To my colleagues, I will miss working with you all and will never forget the amazing moments we shared together. Keep smiling and following your dreams, with your heart wide open, and all the best for your future paths!
To my dear friends, I look forward to finally having more time to pay that long overdue visit and have a good old catch-up over a nice cuppa tea!
In the meantime, I’m already on the slopes for a week of skiing at Méribel. It’s the perfect place to get all inspired and let myself go, with the massive natural beauty and awesome outlooks that go on forever!

7 年My dear friend (if I may) life is about change and progress and our talent needs to further develop. Following your heart and instinct is just part of this process. Your sensitivity and high capacity at different levels will now expand in new contexts and I hope these will bring opportunities to continue working together. Congratulations on the new era that you are just starting!
