Moving Forward Together...

I recently received a corporate mission-vision-value manifesto from Michelin. In it, Michelin's former CEO Jean-Dominique Senard, starts with:

"Respect for people is one of [an organization's] core values. It means that an employee's development, self-fulfillment and commitment are at the heart of [an organization's] objectives and performance."

Senard, who recently moved on to become the Chairman of Renault, states:

"Moving forward together means attracting and retaining talented people, and passing on our culture and our know-how. It is the key the key to our future success."

Paraphrasing two fundamental values from Michelin's manifesto that ring true are:

  1. Grounded in respect for common values, the trust between [an organization] and its employees can be felt upon joining the firm, in open, frank working relationships and in close-knit teams that work together to promote the Organization's performance. This trust builds individual and collective commitment to achieving results.
  2. Always remembering that an employee is an ambassador of the brand equity built by the Organization that everyone strives to nurture, day after day.

The above values strongly resonate with Fidato Partner's commitment to employees of the firm. Commitment to the employee and taking the steps to provide guidance, value and commitment are paramount to ensuring success from the inside out and the outside in.
