Moving Forward.

Moving Forward.

Job is a Journey with Milestones. Fortunate and Blessed.

My 4 year journey with Infinite Computer Solutions has come to end. Joined right at the early Covid times we have seen a tremendous growth in HealthCare Business

Fortunate to drive some innovative Platform Engineering Projects for our amazing customers/partners in MedTech, Wealth Management and IIoT Space.

As a CNCF / Linux Data and AI Ambassador with NIST Security Awareness, took the true spirit of Open Architectures in driving large enterprise initiatives around Cloud-Native Platforms to accomplish

·????? Self-Service Enablement to ease Developer's Experiences, embed security shift-left with policy as code and baked-in Observability.

·????? Participate in Enterprise Data Transformation Efforts in Data Lakehouse’s with API as a Product to support MLOPS initiatives

·????? Edge-First AI Model Deployment in Critical IIOT environments with low latency and resilient environments.?

Humble Beginnings.

As the founder of HexaGrid Computing from 2007 to 2012, I was at the forefront of the Cloud 1.0 era, alongside pioneers like cloud.com and Eucalyptus (pre-OpenStack). We were one of the first to deploy large-scale KVM hypervisors into production, revolutionizing the Private Cloud space. Our core principle was that enterprise data is private and intellectual property must be protected through Policy as Code. Orchestration and self-service APIs were key enablers for IaaS platforms, and we were among the first to deploy Hyperconverged Edge Hardware for Private Cloud, successfully implementing 12 Telco Clouds globally.

However, as OpenStack (Cloud 2.0) gained traction, large systems integrators began investing billions into the OpenStack future, which ultimately led to our decline. In retrospect, open-sourcing our technology early on could have led to a different outcome. Fast forward to 2017-18, the emergence of Kubernetes (Cloud 3.0) disrupted the entire OpenStack ecosystem.?

During my tenure with DXC Technology (formerly CSC/HPE), I had the privilege of participating in large-scale Kubernetes platform engineering at a global bank, a case study that was showcased at the OpenShift Conference under the title "How to Turn the Tanker Around." With the support of the CNCF community and the surge of open innovations, the landscape of cloud development transformed significantly. Notably, while 4G networks were built on OpenStack, the advent of 5G saw a shift toward Kubernetes.

In my role as a strategic consulting partner at DXC, I've collaborated with over 30 global-scale companies, gaining in-depth knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity to safeguard both IT and OT mission-critical environments.

The recent acquisition of VMware by Broadcom has raised serious concerns and we are now witnessing a rapid migration of applications from VMware/PCF to Kubernetes within the next 24 months. If you need consulting assistance during this critical transition, please reach out. #Platform-experts-for-hire

Moving forward with dreams, wisdom and experiences.

Last year, the world saw a remarkable surge in awareness around General AI (GENAI) due to advancements such as GPT3. This development has sparked significant interest within the CIO/CTO community and is reflected in Gartner's Hype Cycle for 2024, which confirms that AI technologies are not just another fleeting trend but rather a fundamental shift in how future enterprises will operate.?

The next five years promise to be an exciting era for AI engineering. Cloud-native platforms will serve as the cornerstone for delivering #AIOps and #MLOps initiatives. With the advent of Private AI Cloud and Edge AI, we are on the cusp of a new wave of innovation reminiscent of the early cloud revolution in 2007.

GPT AI models are evolving at a rapid pace, and enterprises are accelerating their initiatives to develop internal data lakes, vectorizing data for AI model consumption. However, securing these models remains an evolving challenge. Hacker tactics such as model poisoning pose significant risks, and regulators are increasingly concerned about model bias issues. Compliance and governance teams are working tirelessly to meet the new demands, focusing on establishing a robust framework for AI Trust, Risk, and Security Management. This is essential to instill confidence in CIO/CDO initiatives. #AITRISM

(GEN)AI Innovation / Maturity

Since last year, I've been closely monitoring the activities of AI Incubation funds in Austin. Austin is an incredible hub for technology, boasting a vibrant tech scene, startups, and key institutions like UT Austin and the Institute for Foundations of Machine Learning (IFML). Inspired by this dynamic environment, I started a Meetup group called NATU.AI (North Austin Tech User Group on AI). The group has quickly become a melting pot of innovators from major companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Microsoft, as well as local startups. Together, we've engaged in spirited discussions, cast doubts, shared viewpoints, and educated ourselves on GPT systems, pondering the future of innovation.

Gartner AI Q2 2024

UT Austin's IFML and leadership from the National Science Foundation (NSF) have bolstered our confidence that AI is not just a passing trend. Their commitment to safeguarding U.S. innovation underscores the seriousness of this field.

As a Product Innovator and Entrepreneur, I am deeply passionate about leveraging my energy and experience to help enterprises tackle GEN-AI and Edge-AI initiatives.?

My focus areas include:

  • Securing AI Trust and establishing Identity-driven Zero Trust Architecture with HITRUST/FDA/FFIEC level compliance readiness.
  • Achieving 99% performance efficiency for RAG (Retrieval Argument Generation) with minimal hallucination issues.
  • Privacy Private Cloud and Edge AI: Dual Inferencing Architecture, which requires deep expertise in both Edge Plane (Hardware) and Private Cloud Control Plane working as a mesh in tandem. (Similar to Apple Intelligence : privacy-first pattern showcased at Apple's WWDC2024)
  • Optimizing costs around scarce GPU/NPU resources near to far edge use cases.
  • Delivering developer-friendly intelligent applications SDK.
  • Redefining AIOps to simplify AI-Copilot-assisted service management.

Over the past 25 years, I've had the privilege of working with an incredible set of engineering leaders, security experts, partners, mentors, and enterprises, which has enriched my journey. I am grateful to all who have coached and challenged me. As we navigate this new AI-first world, I seek your continued support and another opportunity to contribute over the next few years.

With the backing of the CNCF community, the Linux Foundation for Data and AI, and adherence to IETF/NIST standards, we are more prepared than ever to drive AI innovation.

Lately part of Austin AI Alliance and Capital Factory Incubation and Fortunate to be working with some very innovative Austin based Stealth AI Startup in security space, which is composed of world-renowned cryptography experts and exceptional cloud-native platform engineers. If you're an early seed investor, I encourage you to reach out.

As your Enterprise Engineering partner/advisor/executioner, looking forward to find the next best opportunity as I can bring wealth of knowledge, ,experiences in cutting-edge Cloud-Native Platform Engineering Blueprints, AI industry best practices, and compliance-ready, cost-efficient platforms to complement your internal engineering efforts.

Respectively,
