Moving Forward in a Pandemic Year

This month, my family and I will make the big move from California to Idaho. This decision has been a long time coming (our entire lives). My wife, Daryn, and I visited the Boise area in late August and early September. After spending a week touring, we fell in love with the Treasure Valley and knew this was where we wanted to live, work, and play. We came home, started packing, and put our house on the market in early October. It sold in just one week with a seven-day escrow! So here we come Idaho!!!

Change in Venue

What does this change in venue mean for FH Educators (FHE)? It is an opportunity to get the word out about financial health education in another part of our country. The Boise area is made up of a population of over 700,000 people. FHE will share the message about personal finances - savings, financial goals, budgeting, and debt management - to a new group of individuals and organizations. We also will continue to grow the partnerships made in the Bay Area over the past two years and build our educational link virtually.

What 2020 Has Brought

2020 has been a turbulent and uncertain year for everyone. FHE has chosen to stay connected to our followers through social media posts and monthly blogs. We have met different milestones - an updated and expanded website, increased Instagram and LinkedIn followers, and a new Partners Network (PN). Our desire is to stay on this path of engagement and expand into the new area of Boise. FHE looks to reach out in 2021 networking, sharing and coaching virtually and in-person.
