A Moving Experience

If you’ve ever moved after living somewhere for years and years, you know what a stressful and often difficult undertaking it is. Now imagine making that kind of move with an entire hospital, including the patients!

That’s what the teamwork of Northsiders accomplished recently when we fulfilled our 12-year dream of opening a new Northside Hospital Cherokee to serve the growing community north of Atlanta.

Getting the new, state-of-the-art hospital built was one matter; moving into it was another. But that’s where the skill and camaraderie of the Northside Family really made the difference.

They pulled together when it counted most, and faced a delicate situation that had plenty of problem potential. Their skill and genuine concern for patients was on display as they moved everyone comfortably, safely and with plenty of smiles and laughter.

We are so grateful for the help we got from all the EMS professionals who pitched in!

I was really thrilled that we were able to get the whole process on video, pretty much from start to finish, so others in the community can see the kind of truly dedicated people who make up the Northside Family.
