Moving closer to becoming 'Everyone's Banking Platform'

In May, we launched our new open platform for composable banking at the Temenos Community Forum together with our vision to become 'Everyone's Banking Platform'. The overwhelmingly positive reaction in the room was just what we had hoped for. But turning a vision into reality is what ultimately counts. So how have we been doing since then??
Analysts' views are always a great measure of market perception and position. And Forrester, one of the leading industry research firms, just recently ranked Temenos as a 'Leader' in its?study of digital banking processing platforms for retail and corporate banking?and stated that: "Temenos strategy shows no weak spots…" - what a bold attestation of our capabilities and the progress we have made so far.
Composable banking services, accessible through a single open platform, are the way to give banks the agility, scalability, and efficiency they need to meet the demands of businesses and people to bank on their terms. This is why we built the platform.
Already we're seeing the evidence of how the platform is helping banks adapt and flourish.?Commerce Bank?has chosen Temenos to ensure it retains its position as America's best bank. Also, in the US,?GreenDot?is using Temenos to offer Banking as a Service to brands such as Apple, Amazon, Uber, and Walmart. We have Nordea in the Nordics; when Denmark returned to positive interest rates, it was the first bank to pivot to new opportunities because of the agility of our platform. Travel south, and you'll find?Mirabaud, one of Switzerland's oldest banks, repositioning itself to a younger cohort of customers via a digital end-to-end wealth management platform built on the Temenos Banking Cloud.
These stories chime with the feedback from our reference customers included in the Forrester reports.?In the retail report, customers comment that Temenos "exceeds their expectations," while in the?corporate report, references say that our platform "...could satisfy almost any needs or requirements, and allows a bank to differentiate."

Banks aren't the only beneficiaries of the platform. There are also the stories of our partners who realize new opportunities and grow their businesses by building new solutions on top of our open platform or extending the platform with country-specific services. There are now 80% more solution providers offering their capabilities and services via the Temenos Exchange than two years ago. And this partner ecosystem is growing by the day.?Wise?provides a pre-integrated solution with Temenos that helps fulfill cross-border payments more efficiently.?ApTap, another solution provider leveraging the Temenos ecosystem, is enabling banks to act with greater fiscal responsibility by providing access to bill management and money-saving tools for customers. Silicon Valley's?Mbanq?is shaking up the Credit Union sector in the US with the launch of its 'Credit Union-as-a-service' offering as well as accelerating Banking-as-a-Service, all powered by our platform.
Everywhere you look, Temenos' open platform seems to be at the center of change and innovation.
'Everyone's Banking Platform' is not just a catchy phrase we used during our customer and partner conference in May. The words were carefully chosen to communicate our vision and ambition. Our platform will help banks operate more cost efficiently, with more agility, enabling them to compete better and grow their revenues. Developers and ISVs will benefit by selling their solutions through the platform's open marketplace. Non-banks will gain by embedding financial services into their brand offer. And end-users will win because banking will seamlessly integrate into their everyday lives through the platform. This is what we mean by 'Everyone'.
On our path to becoming 'Everyone's Banking Platform' we will continue to listen to what analysts report, what customers demand, and what our partners request so that 'Everyone's Banking Platform' becomes a reality. This is our mission, our entire strategy and what we stand for as a company.?
