Many robots can already see and identify objects; they can move around independently as well. But, Movel AI is a company that makes them even ‘smarter’. We aim to build solutions for the future; solutions for robot navigation based on advanced computer vision and sensor fusion. A small but aspiring fast-growing company, we enable robots with the ability to maneuver themselves in incredibly complex environments, which would generate better productivity for companies and industries. 

Making the next-generation robotic software, Movel AI’s software will allow robots to successfully and aptly be used in commercial spaces and various industries. The problem with normal industrial robots is that they lack the software or ability to understand the world around them and navigate the complex terrain. 

We bridge this gap in artificial intelligence by utilizing computer vision using cameras. Our software allows the robot to gain better semantic understanding by using the input from the camera and getting feature points from the surrounding environment. Our software lends robots the ability to avoid accidents, and improves accuracy at a much lower cost as well. 

Founded in early 2017, Movel AI has become a dedicated team comprised of five individuals passionate about the future of robotics, and with over 40 years of combined expertise and experience in robotics, computer vision, motion planning and deep learning between them. Operating like a well-oiled machine together, we have grown steadily and developed our own style and technology.
