Connect with the Universe
?“The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.” ― Meister Eckhart, Sermons of Meister Eckhart
Try to see everything and everyone through the perspective of a loving and benevolent creator.?There is a synergy that is quite achievable when one seeks to know the basic established truth of life through this perspective.?Make it a lifelong pursuit, to move closer and closer to the ultimate perfection which is the wisdom of God.?Not that we mere mortals can or ever will arrive at this level of perfection, but we should find dignity and honor on this journey, every day of our life.?Bruce Lee captured this wisdom well when he said:
“A goal is not always meant to be reached; it often serves simply as something to aim at.” ― Bruce Lee
It’s important to have direction as well as a destination that you are moving toward.?There is no telling where you might land if you move in the wrong on the wrong path.?The more you can do to study, research, and analyze your potential moves the more assure yourself of the proper way forward.?The clearer your vision becomes.?Be careful though because your vision might be clouded by no fault of your own.
?Exercises to move to a higher plain
?1.??????I find my connection to the Universe daily through my daily practice of prayer/meditation/mindfulness.?I spend time reviewing scripture and collecting my reflections and this is before working out and doing my daily planning.

2.??????I will admit that when you first get started, it’s easy to slip so I suggest building and memorizing some declarative affirmation statements and find accountability partners to keep you motivated.?The deeper the connection the better.
Write It!
Habakkuk 2:2 - And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
Write it, re-write it, and then write it again.?Do this until you get it right and then keep revising it until it is crystal clear.?A good vision statement is a work in progress almost up until the time it is realized.?The reason to keep clarifying and using the written language helps everyone to stay focused and hopeful.?The better we articulate, review and share our vision the more we gather strength and support.
It only becomes clear when it is right there at arm’s length for you to grab hold of.?Any time before that is not as obvious and requires somewhat of a leap of faith.?The best that vision can provide you and your team early on is a sense of direction.?This is why teams tend to pick up momentum as they get closer and closer to actualizing their vision.?The energy of the experience moves them from the probable to the inevitable as the view of things becomes ever clearer and the possibilities loom large.
Exercises to help you articulate your vision
1.??????Complete the first page of the VisionQuest90? Planning Questionnaire .?Once you’ve completed the forms, you will have captured some if not all of the language needed to create a real strategic vision.
2.??????Now make a list of all referral sources, stakeholders, and supporters that need to know and share your vision and create presentations, proposals, and tools to share it with them and get their feedback.
