Many of the deals that did happen were for products that had 510(k) clearance, which larger companies could easily tuck into their revenue stream.?

Allscripts rebrands under the name Veradigm - After two years of corporate streamlining, the longtime health IT vendor will offer connectivity and analytics tools under a new name. Veradigm sees "transitioning away from disconnected, dysfunctional, disparate systems" and moving to interoperable systems where point-of-care data "can be translated into actionable insights driving measurable value and supporting a higher quality of care."

The NIS 2 Directive establishes new cybersecurity requirements for medical device manufacturers - The NIS 2 Directive forms part of the EU’s Cybersecurity Strategy and establishes cybersecurity risk management measures and reporting requirements for highly critical sectors. This includes the medical device industry.
