A move to Melbourne

So, 18 months ago I was writing on here about a relocation from London to Leeds, which probably isn't as exotic or exciting as the one I have just undertaken. Being tied down to a native Melbournian, it was realistically always on the cards and it didn't take me much encouragement (at all) to agree to move to this beautiful city!

On arrival, after being extremely impressed with the vision and passion of the company, I've joined Randstad to head up Sales Recruitment for their Building and Construction market.

I have 8 years experience in recruiting sales professionals in the construction market, with a career that has spanned across the UK, Europe and the UAE - having run everything from graduate attraction programmes to international searches for executive level hires. I've always taken on the challenge of setting up new markets and opening new industries before - so although I don't have much (4 weeks is something still..!) experience in the Australian market, I'm confident that the processes I follow and techniques I've used across the globe will work here as well!

I've been enjoying meeting some great candidates and people already over the last few weeks and my knowledge of the market is starting to really take hold.
