Breckenridge, Colorado (January 22, 2025) - The Town of Breckenridge, Colorado and Mountain Towns 2030 are excited to announce their partnership to host the 2025 Climate Solutions Summit in Breckenridge Colorado on October 7-8, 2025. Since launching in 2019, the Climate Solutions Summit has evolved into the preeminent networking and knowledge-building event for key stakeholders committed to accelerating climate action in mountain and rural communities throughout the US and worldwide.
The two-day Summit includes inspiring keynote speeches, discussions with leading climate experts and over 30 peer-led breakout sessions focused on emissions-reducing solutions that are highly relevant to mountain, resort, and rural communities of all sizes. The recent 2024 Climate Solutions Summit in Jackson, WY brought together over 550 attendees representing 70 municipal and county governments from across the US. More than 150 other organizations - including ski resorts, nonprofits, and businesses representing consulting, energy, mobility, finance, waste, and more also attended.
The 2025 Breckenridge Summit will continue to emphasize collaboration and model replicable climate solutions implemented by many communities across the Mountain Towns 2030 movement. The MT2030 Climate Action Awards taking place at the Summit on October 8th, will celebrate some of the most impactful mountain community climate successes.

1 个月I look forward to the leadership, foresight, and most of all action that will emerge from this event. Implementing solutions can't happen fast enough. I hope to see some conversations about minimizing habitat destruction, deforestation, and development in wetlands all issues impacting climate.
