Moulding Supply History
From the very beginning, we supplied the wood mouldings and door jamb to the North American market, that 's the reason why we are so familiar with any kind of moulding styles. We have hundreds of CAD drawings to meet various client's demand. Don't be surprise that we can provide you more information that you expect, we are the real expert in this industry. See picture below took in 2003, including door jamb, door stop, baseboards and wainscotings etc.
Moulding Species
The earliest wood moldings were made from Chinese Fir that native in China because of enough sources, perfect performance and good price. But today, radiata pine mouldings are more popular, it could be supplied knotty-free and make sure sustainable source.
Mouldings Grade
Goodwood supply both Clear Grade and Paint Grade, both knotty free but finger jointed only. Finger-jointing is a process that enables us to glue together the short pieces of wood to form lengths of mouldings up to 18 feet or more.
If you have demand on knotty wood, it is available in lower grade.
Our painted surface is smooth and clean, you can paint easily when you install to the house.
Mouldings Lead Time
Generally for the first trial order, it takes about 45 days to finish the custom order and ship out accordingly. But if we have stock the material ready for production, the lead time would be shorter.
