Motivational Speech v0.1 - 7 weeks left

I have been given the great honour to give a motivational speech at the University in Sweden I graduated from, Chalmers. It is for the graduation ceremony they have each year, this year taking place at the 9th of March (still 7 weeks left). I was quite surprised from the invitation, but I knew right away who was responsible for this invitation. It is a very good friend of mine, who is also a Professor in Mathematics at Chalmers. We meet in Munich each year together with her mother, and I visit them in Gothenburg as often I can. She has helped me a lot during various occasions, and I have tried to give back as much as I can. If she wants help with something, it is impossible for me to say no. Last year, she recommended the recruitment committee to interview me. That resulted in a printed interview and in this:

When the interview was done, I asked the Professor why she did the recommendation. She said she wanted to do something to work against stereotypes. Great! I guess it worked well, and she was brave enough to recommend me also for the motivational speech.

For the motivational speech, I did some research. I want to write a speech that is well researched and well thought through. This is a once in a life time opportunity. I asked students and alumni groups on social media, who gave me good advice. I searched for top motivational speeches online, and wow, there are so many fantastic examples. I can't compare myself to Oprah Winfrey or J.K. Rowling, but I will do the best I can. It is a little bit worrying that Oprah says that it put a lot of stress on her the last weeks, and J.K. Rowling was so stressed she put off 6 kilos of her weight. I still have 7 weeks to practice and do research, but to reduce the stress I stopped procrastinate and went ahead writing the version 0.1 of the speech. This has to be good.
