Motivation. The motive in Motion….
You are the captain of your own ship; don't let anyone else take the wheel
The other day I was going through a few articles and came across an interesting article on Motivation. This reminds me that this is the most important thing everyone needs in life especially during such pandemics and situations where everything around makes us negative and unhappy.
I always question myself and do wonder if everyone has this question coming to their mind. How many times have we started doing something enthusiastically or do we even try doing or attempting to do something apart from our routine??
Do we question ourselves why aren’t we trying something new why am I not growing high? What stops us from not wanting to do something?
Even if we question ourselves, we get stuck at a moment and give up not having the courage to face the problem, situation.
We all have problems but only a few of us lookout for solutions, motivate ourselves and achieve what we really desire and most of us just decide to give up blaming everything around us except ourselves.
The reason, Often, there is a lack of motivation or only a short-lived one
We all listen to motivational and inspirational speakers, read motivational books, watch videos that sound motivating and uplifting every day. But what is it and why is it that we need it? Why do we rely on some other source for motivation and self-improvement?
Read the below to understand what motivation is and why do we need it and how can we do a Self-analysis to stay on top of things and achieve what we truly desire in life.
Motivation is a driving force. To accomplish anything, you need a driving force, which is like fuel and water to humans to do anything in life for them to survive. Just like without fuel and proper oiling vehicles don’t last longer, without Motivation humans cannot last forever. We might be alive but dead within our hearts and mind.
A wish alone is not strong enough to make you act. A wish without motivation is a weak desire. Only a strong desire with a stronger motivation can drive you forward, act, and accomplish aims and goals which make us happy and proud.
To get motivated, you need to know exactly what it is that you want, to possess a strong desire, and to be willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish your goals.
It is easier to display motivation in connection with short-term goals. When it comes to long-term goals, it is not always possible to sustain the motivation for a longer time. Therefore, it is wiser to start with small goals, and after gaining experience with being motivated, you proceed to bigger goals. This is my secret rule in life to stay on top of my goals and being able to do things in a better way.
If you desire to get a certain object or accomplish a certain goal, but you don’t feel motivated enough to act, it means that the desire or goal is not important enough. To be motivated to act and do something concerning your goal, you need to possess a strong desire for a stronger goal.
Set a goal that makes you want to jump out of bed every morning
Motivation has much to do with emotions and imagination, which means that if you want to increase it, you must work on your feelings and imagination.
