1. Diffuser Series

Creative Insight
Blanco Void’s latest mood film, in collaboration with In Common With, highlights the dual-purpose design of their Diffuser Series. The film balances both the portability and aesthetic appeal as the lamp functions beautifully outdoors while seamlessly integrating into indoor décor. The strong emphasis on the theme of lighting and the ambience the products emits, shines throughout the production of the mood film. The team designed sets with beautiful outdoor and indoor settings, focusing on golden hour lighting to emphasize on the Diffuser Series sophisticated yet embarrassing and warming design. Adding details as birds, leaf in the wind helps create atmostphere and give life to the scenes, What truly elevates the piece is the moody cinematics paired with immersive ambient sound design—a perfect blend that creates a captivating atmosphere for the viewer.

2. EK61 Lamp

Andreas was commissioned by Carl Hansen & Son to create a captivating film showcasing the 360-degree ripple design of the EK61 lamp. The lamp is featured in a series of inspirational settings, each intricately tied to the concept of light, The scenes seamlessly evoke the golden era of Danish design from the 1950s-60s. Techniques such as smoke and particle simulations, dynamics, and light design were employed to highlight the lamp’s elegance. The playful sound design complements the film’s ambient atmosphere, enhancing the unexpected yet beautiful moments throughout the piece.

3. Flos-Bellhop

Creative Insight
Aleksandr Smirnov, designed a spot for Flos’s Bellhop series. The Bellhop table lamp, has quickly become a design icon. Initially conceived as a tabletop lamp, the design was expanded in collaboration with Flos into a versatile family, that can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. The highlights of the film being the creative use of fluorescent tube lights to mystically reveal of the lamp transitioning it into an almost museum like outdoor setup.

4. Awaken: Reflection

In this collaboration, the artists explore the concept of perception by creatively using a mirror as a tool to blur the lines between reality and illusion. The mirror becomes the central element, giving life to the lamp and the objects it interacts with. The film cleverly plays with the metaphor of what might happen behind the scenes or how objects might experience their surroundings. Through seamless camera movements and magical lighting, the narrative unfolds, creating a captivating interplay between objects and space.
