They always want to be in the picture even if it's not theirs. Holidays, celebrations, and our most intimate moments. Brands want to be there listening, scanning & ready to bounce. So take care of your mother this Mother’s Day since most brands will celebrate her too. Don’t be surprised when a brand for men’s shaving cream is celebrating your mother with you. It’s all part of the game and boy do they know how to play it.?
But here comes the big question, is it wrong to celebrate Mother’s Day when they are not your average target audience??

Well, as they say, all is fair in love and advertising. So go right ahead and celebrate it. However, celebrate it the right way. Be the platform that promotes a good relationship and re-connection with every mom. Be the brand that gives moms what they want, a much-needed rest. You don’t need to be a part of the family picture, but rather provide them with the right tools so they can create the most memorable day. Brands try to drive sales, engagement, and every KPI possible in the book on Mother’s Day. Create an impact that does not only drive sales; create an impact that demonstrates an understanding of your consumers' needs all year round.
Mother’s Day can be a day to promote something bigger than your products; a day to promote your values as an entity. “We know we are not in the picture, but we would like to help you take it.” poses a much better twist to your brand and Mother’s Day. Your target audience may not be mothers but it definitely can be sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters. We all have a mom that we love; so let us love her together.
