Mother’s Union Ready To Launch Mary’s Day Celebrations.

The Mother’s Union Church of Uganda is set to commemorate and launch Mary’s day this Saturday 15th at St. Luke church Seeta. This is a significant event honored on the Anglican calendar to celebrate and honor the life and legacy of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The mother’s union has planned this day to reflect and celebrate, giving special thanks with an aim to educate women and bring impact in families under the theme intimating God’s goodness y doing good

In the Church of Uganda (COU), every?March 25th?is observed as Mary's Day also known as the Feast of the Annunciation, commemorating the encounter between Mary and Gabriel

The Church of Uganda observes this date as "Mary's Day" and a significant day of celebration for Mother's Union.?

In an interview with the provincial president mother’s union church of Uganda she noted that this Saturday the team will be flagging off the celebrations of Mary’s day to all dioceses and attributed the purpose of the day to both families and communities

She voiced her commitments and efforts they have put to ensure that the event is a success. Furthermore, she issued out a call to mothers across the country to stand together in unity and prayer

Speaking to the president mother’s union Mukono diocese Sarah sewanyana, the host of the event outlined some of the ongoing activities being done

Over 1000 mothers across the country will be expected to attend the celebrations and the key chief guest will be his grace the most rev. Samuel Kazimba Mugalu. Mothers have been urged to pay a 25000 fee to make the event colorful. ?
