While there’s no shortage of rugged characters operating along the coast of Alaska, it’s hard not to be impressed by the story of Brianna Murphy and Kristen Smith – two women who’ve not only made a home for themselves in the male-dominated world of commercial fisheries, but have also embraced the fledgling seaweed sector .
