Mother's Day

As this upcoming Sunday is Mother’s Day, I have been challenged to think of all of the impactful women in my life and to tell them of the significance they have played in shaping me as an individual, a husband, a father and a leader. So many have played roles in my life from teachers, church leaders, friends and their moms and grandparents, neighbors, front-line workers, co-workers, and mentors to my own wife, mother and daughter, my sisters and sisters-in-law – there are so many. TO YOU ALL â€“ THANK YOU for what you have taught me. To listen, to love, to respect others and their beliefs. To include, to stand up for the underdog, and to fight for what is right. To believe in others, to trust and to share without fear. To have joy in the journey, to make others feel important, to be genuine, to have compassion, to lead with integrity and to pray for where I need help. You have taught me these things and yes I have a long way to go to master them, but I am on the right path because of you! Since only one of you gave me life, here she is! ??
