How She Became #wpmom
Before knowing how she came out as the mother of the WordPress community, it would be better if we will understand her background.
She has lived on the top of the hill, lived off a dirt road in rural Southern Ohio. She was oftentimes looking after her property with several neighbors up and down the road. She got Internet access from the tower that transmits wireless signals, comparable to a cell phone, although at a moderate speed.
The greatest thing about Kim is that whether you’re standing at the back of the line or the front she would have walked her way down that line to let everyone know they were equally as important and that the only reason there’s a line is because everyone can’t be in the same place at once" - Amanda
She brought people together and had the salty, country-gal personality who would not put up with your bull crap and yet would never break one rule of etiquette in the process of letting you know- Jayvie Canono
How She Came in Contact with WordPress Community
Kim came in contact with the WordPress community members by monitoring to the regular podcast of WordPress weekly. She interacted with them on a weekly basis.
She got the chance to meet them on the shows and after the hour's sessions. That helps in establishing long-lasting relationships and has opened future opportunities for her.
As she lived in the location where no one was aware of WordPress, so, we can say that joining the community was the fabulous opportunity she has grasped to be with like-minded people.
She has grasped the opportunity with open arms and has interacted with the community on WordPress events and also online.
As per the statements of other community members - many members of the WordPress community become her second family, and she took her responsibility very seriously.

- Love doesn’t strut,
- Doesn’t have a swelled head,
- Doesn’t force itself on others,
- Isn’t always “me first,”
- Doesn’t fly off the handle,
- Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
- Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
- Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

- Trusts God always,
- Always looks for the best,
- Never looks back,
