Whatever you see, whatever you have and whatever you know are gifts of Nature. The pathless woods, the meandering river's, the stubborn Rocky outgrowths called mountains, the expanse of the oceans, the lonely beach, the hell-fire volcanoes…everything are gifts of Nature. All natural phenomena serves a definite purpose for shaping the landforms of our planet. Our feeling of joy, beauty, wonder, hope, love, thrill, faith, belief- are all gifts of Nature; even consciousness. Nature has given everything?everything necessary for the existence of life. We have been a heightened level of intelligence because Nature thought that we might be a way for the universe to know herself.?
Now it either it stays that way or maybe, we humans, one day can become history. The future resides on us, how we act and what we do at this very hour. Life has a meaning so instead of mocking it we must try to protect it and the Natural Order. Nature has given us the greatest gift in the universe i.e life; a chance to be with her creation and explore her wilderness. Life itself is the greatest gift and we must honour it. It's not a duty it's a commitment.
Human’s life would be a blessing only if he or she is healthy. Healthiness is the divine gift of nature to human being. Unless he or she is healthy no matter how wealthy, level of education of the person and how much of power the person have, are pointless. True physical and mental health depend upon combination of several factors. Fresh air, clean water, nutritious food, exercises, relaxing, good health practices, good environment and mental training are the main factors that comes first.?
Free from illnesses, immunity to diseases, and proper functioning of all the inner organs of the body will be the outcome of combination of the above mentioned. Refreshing, systematic activities and being light hearten and happy – mind are the features of good mental health. A person with all these divine gifts of life with complete healthiness of such traits, is successful in absorbing not only various opportunities, activities and difficulties but also the happiness and aesthetics from the environment. The surroundings will also turn sweet with that blissful taste. Desire to be isolated, lack of self-confidence, sudden anger, inferiority complex are rising in a mind with mental illness.?
The physical and mental healthiness is not created spontaneously but it is a wealth that should be obtained with an intelligent effort. Compared to human body which is an amazing creation of the universe, all accept that even from simple machine such as a motor vehicle, it should be maintained on time in order to get a long term high quality service. However, surprisingly, most individuals are not bothered about anything of their body except providing some food & drinks and medicine in some illnesses.
Any one knows that not only for health but also to maintain life, water and air is essential. Though how much these are available in abundance, due to not adopting proper health practices, there are people in the society who became ill due to lack of air and water sufficiently to their body. As an example there are people who suffer from constipation due to lack of adequate water to their body and as well as there are people who suffer from indolent nature in life due to lack of insufficient oxygen to their body. While many of the world population struggle to supply their daily food requirement when the threaten of malnutrition is spreading throughout the world, it is surprising to hear though that there are people in abundance in the society who suffer from diseases as a result of in-taking nutritious food improperly, and overeating of nutritious food, indeed it’s a true. Similarly, if someone eat food without biting, will a balance diet provide that person the proper nutrition the body requires? Wouldn’t it do an evil than a good to the person who eat such nutritious diet unduly?
According to the present lifestyle of a person today, more attention is required for exercises. In the past both men and women in any country worked hard to make their living. Men worked in paddy fields, digging earth, chopping firewood, lumbering etc. While women engaged in their house works and in the paddy fields to help their men and therefore there was no need to think about exercises, as the body received spontaneous exercises.?
However, with the abundance of the state of art machinery, vehicles etc. and since there are abundance of job opportunities to work without spending much energy, and since attitudes changed regarding working, many of the population today do not receive exercises essential to keep their health level in good condition. Professionals like teacher, clerk, lawyer etc. as well as the laborer who engaged in boring works don’t receive exercises essential to the body.

It is obvious from the society itself in abundance today the outcomes of lack of these exercises, i.e. “sick bodies” with hanging muscles, and protruding bellies etc. Back Pain, pain of the hands and legs, constipation, disease conditions relevant to unbalance of air inside the body, swelling and there are also conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol etc which occurs commonly due to physical inactivity of the body is very common in our present day society.?
These conditions have turned to a huge issue in today's world. Therefore, all of who accept that healthiness is a wealth should be much concerned on their food intake, combing hair, brushing teeth as well as on engaging in exercises in their day to day routine. By selecting a set of exercises relevant to the age and the profession and it should be incorporated to self routine practices in a certain exact time, then it is no doubt that one who engaged in such a life routine would definitely be in good health while maintaining vitality, beauty, strength, along with a long life.
Instead of enthusiastic and fresh faces, lethargic and dull faces are common today in our society. Economic, political factors as well as deterioration of physical and mental status of the body have largely affected on these conditions. Nature is the only powerful entity in this entire cosmos and nothing can beat it. It has myriad of things to offer us & the world on the daily basis. It would not be a hyperbole to say that nature is the only reason for our existence on this blue planet. In fact, what we eat, what we wear & what we breathe are coming from the nature only which can also be considered as the “nature’s gifts”. It can be in any form(forests, rivers, oceans, mountains, air, etc)—you just name & it’s somehow interconnected to nature. This is why we call it as our Mother Nature.
Gifts of nature are fruits and nuts growing on trees, sunlight, rain, fresh flowing water, clean air, the sound of birds singing, beautiful vistas overlooking landscapes, the diversity of life on this planet, colorful sunsets, rainbows, life and death, freedom, all principles that belong to nature and her cycles. Humans should be the stewards of nature, but sadly we are destroying her with our actions that pollute and damage her. We are also causing man-made global warming. Earth’s processes are our life-support system.?
We depend on them for our survival. It’s our urgent responsibility to respect, protect (conserve) and restore nature, which not only belong to us, but to all lifeforms on Earth, present and future. Humanity must change paths or we risk extinction ourselves. We should work to minimize the disruption of nature when we use any of Earth’s natural resources, which are finite (meaning they are not limitless or infinite). By using generally as few resources as possible, we can save some for future generations. Also other lifeforms on Earth that aren’t human deserve clean water, food, land, and air too.
By using renewable resources (solar & wind for energy and other natural materials for building and making things) we can harness what Earth has already given us freely (a true gift) instead of trashing and damaging the environment with drilling, mining, plastics etc (which do irreparable damage to ecosystems and in return, us).?
By using readily available materials in nature for our use that are natural (wood, plants, locally collected water, recycling nutrients through composting, home-grown food, etc) we are living closer to Earth. These are things that are sourced ecologically. We can design our lives and our societies to live in harmony with Earth and her principles (check out what permaculture is). We can give back by planting trees and plants, taking care of how we live, our ecosystems and the animals that provide us what we need. This is going “back to nature.” Cheers!

3 年Kishore Shintré very well articulated ?? In order to show gratitude to the Mother Nature, the least we can do at an individual level is just inculcating in our life, Mahatma Gandhi's following quote: “The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.”
