Most Webinars Make Me Sick

Helping Sales Organizations Prepare Today for the Future of Sales Tomorrow
As a frequent viewer of webinars, I offer some suggestions that might keep viewers more engaged:
- Prepare and Test -- Please don't make me listen to you and whomever else is helping you deliver the webinar discuss where this is where that is located.
- Please don't tell me the webinar is going to start at a certain time and then ask me to wait for 5 or 10 minutes beyond that time because "some folks are just joining us". I don't care about them. I care about you starting when you say you are going to start and respecting my time. Begin on time.
- Please, oh please, don't read slides to me. If that's is the extent of your webinar presentation capability, send me the slides. I learned to read when I was 5.
- Don't try to close me on buying something from you at the end of your webinar. Webinars are instructive, not sales tools. If people like what you are all about, they will get in touch with you.
- Please tell me how to get in touch with you if I want to know more without making me fill out a form. Include that information in your webinar. A simple, "if you want to know more, email me at ____."
Thanks for your attention.
