Jesus taught John 3:16 NKJV: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” This verse has long been considered our most profound and concise statement of the Gospel. It expresses the core and significance of the Gospel, the most important and impactful truth ever shared with people worldwide. This verse has been preached, studied, and quoted more than any other biblical text, always remaining relevant and maintaining its emotional impact. The verse is so expansive, it can be broken down and analyzed into: “For God so loved,” “the world,” “that He gave His only begotten Son,” “that whoever believes in Him”, “should not perish,” and “have everlasting life”. God's love for the world is central to Christian belief, crossing the boundaries of race and nationality and even extending to those who oppose Him. Let’s examine everlasting life as it relates to those who have embraced God's love through the gift of Jesus Christ. Eternal life is not merely a promise for the future to be fulfilled after death; it is a reality we can experience in the present. When we accept Christ and begin to live in His love, the door to heaven opens, allowing a pure light into our lives that we have never experienced before. We receive the Holy Spirit and enjoy fellowship with Him, experiencing the perception of heaven even before we arrive there. This glimpse of heaven enriches our lives today, and with eternal life already within our grasp, our present moments become a truly wonderful place to be. Paul tells us, ?Philippians 1:21: “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” God’s love is vast and intense, yet it is never forceful. We have the freedom to choose how to respond to it. He loves us with a limitless intensity, but He does so in a way that respects our ability to make our own choices. Forced love is not authentic love. Authentic love is a gift that accepts the possibility of rejection. John 3:18 NKJV: “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” Jesus came to save, not to condemn. God rejects sin without rejecting the sinner and accepts all who come to Him in faith. He offers us the perfection and purity of His Son, who died for our atonement. His Son speaks for us at judgment, lives for us in the present, and loves us for all eternity. I can’t imagine any informed person rejecting such a gift. When we accept this gift and open our hearts to Jesus, we embrace a life filled with eternal joy now and future delights beyond our comprehension. There are only two types of people in the world: those who have chosen to accept Christ and spend eternity with God in heaven and those who have not made that choice.

1 周This is a core of our redemption from perpetual condemnation to eternal life. We thank God for the work of Calvary and His unfailing love. When we were yet a sinner , Christ died for us. We pray for the grace to choose rightly and to accept the grace of salvation. Amen!!!!
