What defines a powerful scene? They can take many forms across many genres of film: from the epic battle scene of a blockbuster to the slapstick climax of an animated caper to the nuanced, tension-filled interaction of a social drama. Inevitably these moments leave an indelible mark on your psyche and remain with you for weeks if not years. And they are worth celebrating. For the first time Finch & Partners have created an award, powered by Dean & DeLuca and in partnership with the Evening Standard Film Awards, to honour this year’s most powerful scene in cinema. We have selected what we believe to be the ten unforgettable on-screen moments this year and now we want to hear from you.
