Copeland to Launch Vilter Industrial Single-Skid Heat Pump to Accelerate Energy Transition

Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, has launched the Vilter VQ95 industrial heat pump to help customers reduce their carbon footprints. This single-stage heat pump is designed to support decarbonization efforts in district heating and industrial process heating, particularly in industries like food and beverage production.




Carrier Completes $775M Sale of Commercial Refrigeration Business to Haier

Carrier Global Corporation has announced the completion of its $775 million sale of its commercial refrigeration business to long-standing joint venture partner Haier. The enterprise value includes approximately $200 million of net pension liabilities.

This sale represents a key step in Carrier's strategic focus on its core businesses, following the recent divestitures of Industrial Fire and Global Access Solutions, and the announced sale of Commercial and Residential Fire. The divestitures are part of Carrier's broader portfolio transformation.




Johnson Controls Expands Holme Heat Pump Facility in Denmark

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart and sustainable buildings, has announced a major expansion of its heat pump and chiller facility in Holme, near Aarhus, Denmark. This development aims to meet growing global demand for high-capacity commercial and industrial heat pumps, creating over 100 new jobs by early 2026.

The expansion will add 2,300 square meters of production capacity and an 1,800 square meter customer and test center, featuring a state-of-the-art simulation environment. The investment also includes updating existing buildings with advanced production equipment and technology.




Daikin Unveils New Oil-Free Centrifugal Chiller

Daikin Applied has unveiled the Magnitude?WME-D, a next-generation water-cooled centrifugal chiller that features a two-stage, oil-free compressor and utilizes the low-global warming potential (GWP) R-515B refrigerant. This advanced chiller promises up to 40% energy savings compared to traditional fixed-speed compressors, helping building owners and operators accelerate their decarbonization efforts while benefiting from superior market performance.
