Here are the most popular Refrigeration industry news for February 26 - March 03:

Danfoss’ new PSH scroll compressor with vapor injection may be a game-changer for heat pump adoption. Its ability to operate in a wider range of ambient temperatures allows for an effective and efficient heat pump in colder climates. Increasing the operating range of heat pumps is essential for achieving decarbonization.

TEKO has developed the TECO2nditioner. This is installed to protect the compressor from damage and significantly extend its lifespan. The technology ensures that the compressor‘s suction temperatures are reduced and kept constant, preventing the oil used for lubricating the compressor from getting too hot.

Carrier’s newest addition to its connected controls portfolio improves homeowner connectivity at a lower price point. The 24V thermostat, launching commercially as the Carrier Smart Thermostat, makes its builder debut at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.?

Danfoss is supporting the transition to low GWP refrigerants with its new DST G series of A2L refrigerant detection sensors, which feature a revolutionary patented inverted design.

As HFC phasedown continues and A2L refrigerants become more widely adopted, the G series of sensors allows building owners and HVAC/R manufacturers to implement these new refrigerants with confidence.

Daikin offers different types of free cooling, including glycol free systems, to meet the needs of critical applications like data centres. It also uses sophisticated plant management systems supported by AI to keep chillers operating close to their optimal performance level and balances total capacity with actual load. This improves energy savings by as much as 20% compared with traditional chiller sequencing control by BMS.
