Daikin Europe has launched its new Daikin Altherma 3 M heat pump, available in small capacities for smaller homes. The heat pump, previously launched in classes ranging from 9 kW to 16 kW, is now available in three smaller classes (4-6-8 kW). Thanks to its consistent compactness, functional design and strengthened performance, it is perfectly suitable for smaller dwellings. The new heat pump now completes Daikin’s R-32 monobloc range.


Carrier Transicold has unveiled its newest temperature-controlled trailer unit, the Vector HE 17 unit, at IAA Transportation 2022. The new system, featuring variable frequency drive technology combined with proven E-Drive all-electric technology, enhances the company’s range of Vector High Efficiency (HE) units. Achieving best-in-class total cost of ownership, the Vector HE 17 delivers improved refrigeration output while significantly reducing fuel consumption.?


The disruptive evolution of the Internet ofThings also enters the Retail and Food&Bev world in leaps and bounds. Epta is one of the promoters of a smart development in the commercial refrigeration sector.

A major refurbishment of London's iconic 111 Buckingham Palace Road, located near Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station, includes a new air conditioning system with high-efficiency Carrier screw chillers.

The speech was an opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump sector while focusing on future opportunities and challenges our industry will face in the coming years.


The global large-scale natural refrigerant heat pump market is projected to reach USD 9.1 Billion by 2027 from an estimated market size of USD 5.8 Billion in 2022, at a CAGR of 9.4% during the forecast period.?The market has a promising growth potential due to several factors, including the role of large-scale natural refrigerant heat pumps playing in carbon emission reduction and government incentives and regulations to improve energy efficiency.


Daikin Europe N.V. has announced it will invest 300 million euro to establish a new factory in ?ód?, Poland, which will be Daikin’s first production base in the country. The new factory will manufacture residential heat pump units and start operations in July 2024, in addition to the existing European production bases in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany. This investments come on top of the 840 million euro set out in Daikin Europe’s strategic management plan FUSION 25, announced last year, and new investments in existing factories. This brings Daikin Europe’s total investment amount to over 1.2 billion euro by 2025.
