With a judging panel composed of industry experts and the inclusion of public voting, the awards reflect both expert opinions and user preferences.

The awards were presented to the Bank of Ceylon during a ceremony held on August 14th, 2024, at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Chief Marketing Officer Sameera Liyanage, along with key members from the Marketing, IT, and Product Development & Business Process Re-Engineering Project teams, proudly accepted the awards.

The site is available in all three of Sri Lanka's official languages—English, Sinhala, and Tamil—ensuring that it caters to the linguistic preferences of a broad audience. Additionally, the website is fully mobile-responsive, allowing customers to access banking services seamlessly across various devices, whether they are on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop.

To further enhance the user experience, BOC has incorporated several accessibility features. These include font size adjustments and color contrast options, making the website easier to use for individuals with visual impairments. The site is also compatible with screen readers, and the views exceed 10 million, with over 3.9 million active users annually.?
