Most painless way to break your fingers

Oh this one had me laughing and cringing all at once this week so if you haven't heard the story yet as it did go viral, I just had to share it.....
A man recently tweeted that his friend had got himself into a bit of 'hot water' after fibbing on his CV, stating that one of his proudest achievements was mastering the piano at age 15. I think the term 'mastering' gave the added impression he was self-taught and this clearly gave him extra kudos.
Now I'm not saying this was the only reason he got the job......but it did lead to the Board asking him to play for them at their annual corporate event the following week, just days after he'd started his new role.
Can you imagine being hit with that news?? Apparently he was Googling terms such as; 'Most painless way to break your fingers', which i found hilarious, yet couldn't help feeling extremely anxious for the poor guy, being the empath I am.
People lie on their CV's.....fact! It's up to you as the hiring manager to get to the bottom of the lie at the interview and not once they've started at your company.
I have written an eBook on this subject and can gladly share some tips with you that can help you spot a 'Billy Liar' a mile off.
Feel free to message me back with the subject 'Liar liar pants on fire' and i will send you a free copy.
On another note, (excuse the pun), I don't think he got away with it, not now it's in the national newspapers.
Until next time,
Natalie.
