The most overlooked personal brand miss: Putting your best face forward every day

Over the last 20 years, I’ve had countless conversations about personal grooming.?

Everyone’s story is a little different, yet there are some common frustrations.


Simply, they don’t know where to start.


Many people think personal grooming is complicated so they give up even before trying it completely.


Your skin is one clothes you are born with and you can’t take it off.?


Beautiful skin boosts your confidence.

Better skin makes more positive first impressions.

So you want to take care of your skin.


3 mistakes to avoid for your skincare regimen

Your skin is like a cloth that's difficult to patch up when it has holes, wrinkles, or burns. Taking care of your skin before it's damaged is critical.


Mistake #1: Using expensive products

Expensive products don’t mean that they are good for your skin. Everyone’s skin is different. If you have dry skin and use pricey products good for oily skin, the product will make your skin dryer instead of hydrating. Learn your skin type first.


Mistake #2: Applying too many products

Less is more. If you use too many products, it puts too many ingredients on your skin—more than it can take at a time. It’s like you eat more than your stomach can take. You have a stomach. Your skin is the same. It suffers and breaks out.


Mistake #3: Keeping the same products

Rotate your skincare regimen based on your skin condition and seasons. Your skin is a living organ. When you are dehydrated, your skin needs extra hydration. When the weather gets warmer, your skin needs extra protection from the Sun.


Skincare regimen checklist

To build your personal grooming, keep it simple. Get to know what works best for you, try different products, and keep up with your skincare routine.


Use basics

Start with a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. Make sure to use the right product for your skin type. Use them morning and night, like brushing your teeth.


Apply daily

Consistency is key.?Visiting a dermatologist to enhance your skin once a month or a year has no long-term impact. What you do every day leads to better results.


Personalize regimen

Using the right skincare products is essential. Add serum for extra hydration or anti-aging. Align with your lifestyle by using vegan or natural ingredient products.
