Most of My Life I Was Unhappy

Most of My Life I Was Unhappy

Most people don't know this, but I spent most of my life unhappy. From the age of 10 until 25 I was miserable, and from 25 to 45 I was searching for why I was so unhappy and what had gone wrong.

I lost my dad at 10 and my older brother at 20. Add to that all the other losses and failures a person accumulates through life and it’s easy to see how people become bitter and resentful. Stuck in the past, nothing got better for me but I continued to pursue happiness.

Then one day I heard someone say, “life isn’t about what has happened, it’s about what you make happen.” Everything changed for me when I heard that.

I felt empowered and in control for the first time in a long time. A simple idea that my future was more important than my past.

This slight shift allowed me to start creating on my life rather than being a mere spectator. I started thinking about my potential more and creating a future I could control rather than a past I could not.

Keep searching, pay attention to those that are happy and never quit looking for what you deserve, I am confident you will find yours.

Let me know if this helps,

Where I came from and taking all that has been taught to me and giving it away. Because I have been taught you have to hive it away to keep it. Ive moved back up north and have had bad luck at 2 Dealership's I just hope to gind a good Dealership to work at and help them do what they need done and to be appreciated not stabbed in the back. So I really liked your story ai can definitely relate thanks for giving me some of my best tools to use to be where I am in the car industry today. Kurt Schulz
