Most will lean more to doing less

Why do humans lean more to doing less? We see it everywhere. I even catch myself taking the short cut so it just gets done. As a baseball coach, I set up stations so certain mechanics can be learned through easy reps. Yet, when I turn to work with a specific player, I can always look back and see less focus than what I intended. Yep, that’s when I coach it up again. Focused reps and intent changes everything.
Why does the short cut happen? Tedium.
Tedium creates gaps in the best mapped process because humans were born to think. Broken links in process create liability and flawed customer service. At Western Integrated Systems, we create Smart Process Applications to best manage transactions. In preparation for presentations coming in 2018, we are looking to learn from industry leaders on the topics that are cutting into their profits, SLA delivery and pure and simple customer service let downs.
