Story

Justine and I met nearly five years ago where she wanted my recruitment services in Asia while working for @SIRVA. Our friendship grew over the years professionally and privately. I confided in her that I wanted to setup my own company within recruitment specialising in Mobility and Immigration, Household Goods and Finance. Justine supported me all the way and mentored me until yesterday. Her journey is nearly over and my family and I have truly been inspired by her and the strength she has to carry on and how she has not just helped me, but her passion for Mobility is apparent still. Her work colleagues in Asia are sadly missed by her as well the UK, and I hope everyone will read her journey and make her last wish come true by going on her page to donate. I'm walking on the 12th May in Bath, to support Justine and I know she would love other supporters on that day. Thank you Justine from the bottom of my heart, you have really and truly helped grow Easy Tiger.

Justine life changed forever on December 2016 when she was diagnosed with Stage IV (terminal) Bowel cancer. With a prognosis of 6-18 months, she decided as a family to focus on filling her remaining time with both memorable family events and raising funds for the new Cancer Centre at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. By focusing on others needs as well as her own it would ensure that the legacy that she created stretched far beyond just a small household, and her children would learn that even in adversity the opportunity to pay it forward always exists.

Though the new Cancer Unit at the RUH Bath, will be built in 2019/2020 and she knows she will not be there to see it, but she knows that everyone who passes through those doors, patients, families, and staff will benefit immensely from the wonderfully designed unit, the medical enhancements that will be incorporated in the new building, and the pairing of clinical and pastoral support in one location!

So on Saturday 12th May 2018, with the support of family and friends she will try to complete the 10 miles, "Walk for Life 2018" from Bradford-on-Avon to Bath for the 2nd time. This will potentially be her final fundraising project for the new RUH Cancer Centre as unfortunately, cancer has now spread throughout her lungs. However, those that know her well, know that she always love a challenge, the harder the better, especially when it includes raising funds for a cause that is close to her heart.

She has several family, friends, and colleagues who will be joining her on the walk and they may approach you to sponsor them/me. Please note that all donations go directly to the charity "The Forever Friends of Bath RUH Hospital"

Therefore, if you would like to help raise money for her goal of £15,000 please feel free to sponsor her. Every penny counts and between us we can help change the lives of others.

Thank you for taking time to read Justine story and visit her JustGiving page. Please know that your donation does make a difference and helps to change the life of people/families in our community who are battling this life-changing disease.
