I'm sure you and your designers labored intensively to make sure all the right things were on your website.
You may have spent weeks or months making sure the colors and fonts were all consistent with your brand, that your site was mobile responsive, and that all the graphics were perfect.
You crafted the perfect tale about how awesome you are in your About You pages. You included all your awards, testimonials, and social proof so that anyone who visited would immediately understand how awesome you are.
You included all the hyperbole about your products or services, and the exact problems you solve. Heck, you may have even included a landing page with a call to action button, and implemented marketing automation to track visitors through your marketing funnel.
But you probably forgot one thing...
So what is it? What is the one thing, the one menu item missing from 99% of business sites?
Before I reveal. Let's review the most important part of any marketing plan. It doesn't matter how great your products, services and prices are if you don't have this one thing.
All of you marketers are screaming at your monitor 'Your Audience! Your customer!'
It stands to reason that when someone arrives at your site, they will immediately want to know you can help them. They want to feel comfortable that they are who you serve, and that you know their problems implicitly.
So why do so few websites have....
An About You menu item, or page?
Go here to see how we feature About You on our site... because it IS all about you.
Next to the home button, it is the most important button on our site. How about yours?
