? The new AWS Region in Malaysia is in the works, and will drive significant investment to Malaysia?

? Snap Inc. expanded their partnership with Google Cloud to level up the targeted cloud skills through hands-on, instructor-led training, in-person gamified Cloud Hero Learning Events, and access to on-demand Google Cloud Skills Boost labs

As the annual Mobile World Congress?MWC'23?is wrapped up last Friday, major cloud vendors made exciting announcements on their new offerings to empower communications service providers to transform on the cloud and to enable them deploy true cloud-native networks in a hybrid cloud environment. Here are just a few of those that I foresee will have a lasting impact on telecommunications industry:

• Microsoft Cloud have?announced?the public preview of?Azure Operator Nexus?– the next-generation hybrid cloud platform created for communications service?providers. In a nutshell, the Operator Nexus platform brings the compute closer to problems that need solving, enables telecommunications operators to leverage the transformative power of AI and automation, and provides developers with advanced capabilities to build network-aware applications.
• Google Cloud ?announced?three new telecom cloud products,?Telecom Network Automation,?Telecom Data Fabric, and?Telecom Subscriber Insights, to offer communications providers a solution to build, deploy, and operate their hybrid cloud-native networks; collect and manage network data; and improve customer experiences through artificial intelligence (Al) and analytics.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) ?announced?the AWS Telco Network Builder, a fully managed service that helps customers deploy, run, and scale telco networks on AWS. It will accelerate the design, build and deployment of an operational, cloud-configured telco network from days to hours enabling communications providers to take advantage of cloud's performance, scalability, resilience and elasticity.

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced plans to launch an AWS infrastructure Region in Malaysia. The benefit of a new cloud region is that it will attract significant investment to the country, and the one in Malaysia is not an exception. As part of its commitment to the region, AWS is planning to invest $6 billion (approx. MYR 25.5 billion) in Malaysia by 2037. The new AWS Region will consist of three Availability Zones at launch, adding to the existing 99 Availability Zones across 31 geographic regions globally.
• Snap Inc. , the developer of the Snapchat platform, runs its business on Google Cloud. Seeking new ways to realise value from cloud,?Snap partnered with Google's Technical Account Managers?to level up the targeted cloud skills with a view to boost productivity, enable scaling and mitigate technical issues.
• Microsoft Cloud Azure DevOps?are now integrated?with Mural 's canvas. Mural’s new integration, Mural and Azure DevOps customers can now save time and jumpstart collaboration by easily importing work items as sticky notes onto a Mural canvas. Mural's ongoing focus on digital dashboards provides the improved ways of working to Agile teams by providing templates for agile ceremonies, frameworks for design thinking, access to voting and timers.
