Most Frequently Asked Questions in 2021

Before we welcome 2022, let’s wrap up 2021 with 2021’s FIVE most frequently asked questions.?

How do I download my certificate once I complete the course??

Certificates of Completion are certificates you may receive after you watch all the videos in a course on LinkedIn Learning. You can share them to your profile to document your accomplishments and show clients, employers, colleagues, and friends your education, skills, and interests. For the full scoop on certificates, check out this link https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/learning/answer/82977.

If you have an active subscription that provides access to LinkedIn Learning and complete a course (watched all the videos and passed all quizzes and exams), you should be able to download your certificate. If you are having trouble downloading the certificate, check out this LinkedIn Learning help article https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/learning/answer/82975

How do I download the exercise files for a course??

If there are exercise files for a course, you can access them under the “Related to This Course” section beneath the video panel. To download the exercise files, you must be on your desktop, not the LinkedIn Learning app on your mobile device. If you are having trouble, check out this LinkedIn Learning help article https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/learning/answer/71925

What can I do to get my PMP Certification?

I’m thrilled to see so many people working toward a PMP certification. The PMI web site provides information about how to obtain a PMP, but people still have lots of questions. Here’s a handout I put together that guides you through the steps. https://www.bonniebiafore.com/files-to-download-for-free/

And this LinkedIn Live Office Hours session with Chris Croft and Megan Russell dives even deeper: https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/bonniebiafore_chris-croft-and-bonnie-biafore-will-guide-activity-6803354866350645248-y6t0

How can I find out how many PDUs a course provides?

Once you have a PMI certification like the PMP or PgMP,? you need to obtain PDUs (professional development units) to maintain your certification and many LinkedIn Learning course provide PDUs. To find the number of PDUs for a course, click the Overview tab. If there is a Continuing Education Units label, click the Show More link to the label's right. You will see the certifications and number of units for the course. Click the show more link to access a link that takes you to the PMI webpage with full info on those PDUs so you can report them.

Note: If you don’t see a Continuing Education label or PMI listed there, the course doesn’t provide PDUs (or PMI hasn’t yet assigned PDUs to the course). PMI can take months to assign PDUs to a course, and, in some cases, doesn’t provide PDUs if the course content doesn’t apply to PMI’s approaches.

What do I do if a Video is not working in a course?

First things first, try logging out and back in or log in using a different browser. If this does not work, please reach out to LinkedIn Learning support for help with the platform/site. You can reach out to them here: https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/learning And look for the “start chat” link.

How can I improve blurry videos?

If video quality is blurry, first click the gear icon beneath the video panel, click Quality, and then make sure 720p is selected. If the video is still blurry, make your browser window is as large as possible. Use a larger monitor if possible.

A last word

Remember, course Q&A is meant for questions related to the course content. If you have questions about the LinkedIn Learning platform or need support, please go to https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/learning and search for a topic or find the “start chat” link. That also includes questions about subscriptions and payments. I am the course author and am always happy to answer your questions about what’s in my courses. But I can’t do anything about technical issues with the overall site or billing.
