The Most Effective Strategies Are Simple But Not Easy!

The two words - SIMPLE and EASY - could easily be the most wrongly substituted words for each other in professional communication. From Strategy, Tactics to Execution, the meaning of the two words is poles apart. Confusing one for the other can often result in the adoption of a very wrong course of action.?

Simple is the opposite of complicated. It doesn’t mean it is easy to implement. The simplest things are often the most difficult to implement.

  1. Eating healthy is simple but not easy.
  2. Getting six packs is simple but not easy.
  3. Waking up early every day is simple but not easy.?
  4. Financial discipline is simple but not easy.?
  5. Consistent learning every day is simple but not easy.?
  6. The winning company strategy is simple but not easy. (A business model free from bells and whistles)
  7. Creating desirable products is simple but not easy.?
  8. What is right for your life is simple but not easy.
  9. Becoming the best version of yourself is simple but not easy.
  10. Being a good human is simple but not easy.

Or as ?ālib said

bas-ki dushvār hai har kaam kā āsā? honā
aadmī ko bhī mayassar nahī? insā? honā

dushvār = difficult (not easy) | mayassar = easily available

Aanan Khurma very well articulated. Taking this a step, we realise that these might well be the things that make the most meaningful impact, compared to the big elephants. No wonder some wise man said- "No one trips over a mountain- we trip on pebbles."
