The increase in the blood sugar levels makes an individual highly sensitive to different kinds of infection.The skin and the urinary tract are the most common sites of infection in diabetic patients.
· One of the risk factors for diabetes is obesity and a sign of the disease is weight loss. Unexplained weight loss is considered as very unhealthy and needs to be evaluated.
· A common diabetes symptom that interferes with activities of daily living is fatigue and weakness.The body is unable to respond appropriately to the insulin due to increase in blood sugar levels.

· The sweat glands become dysfunctional due to poor circulation leading to dry skin. Due to a yeast infection, the skin may become itchy along with being extremely dry.
· The appearance of dark skin patches in the folds of your skin around the armpits, neck and groin area are also seen. Blurry vision. Due to an increase in high blood sugar levels, blurry vision and difficulty focusing can also be experienced.
