The Most Advanced Micro Ohmmeters for Circuit Breaker Testing – RMO-D Series

RMO-D micro ohmmeters are designed to fulfill toughest requirements for contact resistance measurement on all types of medium and high-voltage circuit breakers. Besides testing of live tank circuit breakers, these micro ohmmeters have special features for testing dead-tank and generator circuit breakers.

Presence of current transformers (CT) at the dead tank circuit breakers may introduce errors during a test because of a CT magnetizing process. The RMO-D micro ohmmeters are very convenient for dead tank circuit breakers testing, using DTRtest mode (automatic detection of a CT saturated condition) and demagnetization feature (for CT demagnetization after testing with a DC current).

In addition, our RMO-D devices have built-in High Precision Module used for applications on very small resistance measurements of non-inductive test objects (in the range from 1 μ? to 30 μ?). This requirement is usually met at resistance inspections of generator circuit breakers, welding joints, GIS testing, etc.

Three different models available:

? RMO500D with up to 500A test current

? RMO600D with up to 600 A test current 


Four separate test modes

? Single test mode for basic contact resistance tests

? Continuous test mode with selectable test duration

? BSG mode for Both Sides Grounded testing

Powerful, but still portable and lightweight

? RMO600D weights 12 kg / 26.5 lbs and has 3,4 kW output power
