Moscow bomb blast
Armen Sarkisyan, a pro-Kremlin paramilitary leader wanted by Ukraine, died in a Moscow bomb blast. Aljazeera.com said it appears to be a targeted attack on his activities aiding Russia.
NBC News added that the bomb also killed a bodyguard and injured others, pointing to the severity and precise nature of the assassination attempt.
According to The Guardian, the attack resembles targeted killings linked to Ukrainian clandestine ops, suggesting ongoing strategies to eliminate Russian figures.
The Moscow Times hinted at political motives behind the blast, linking Sarkisyan’s role in the Ukraine war as a likely cause of this planned attack.
Lastly, the Jerusalem Post reported that Sarkisyan was critically injured and lost part of his leg after the bomb targeted him in a Moscow complex lobby.
