Mortgage Technology Manager - must be local to Madison, WI
V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking?Mortgage Technology Manager?client in?Madison, Wisconsin.?This is a?full-time, direct hire?position.
Education and Experience ?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job.
- 5+ years of mortgage operations and extensive familiarity with mortgage origination and servicing systems.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects and cross functional team management to achieve desired results
- Project management background or similar experience

- Thorough understanding of mortgage technology platforms.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to prioritize various projects.
- Ability to establish business case, including business requirements and cost benefit analysis.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
- Makes sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgment.
- Demonstrated team player with active participation in meetings.
- Strong ability to transition efficiently from working independently to working collaboratively.

- Use of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and related industry applications.
- Creates focus and eliminates roadblocks for team members.
Mortgage Technology & Project Management - 65%
- Coordinates process and system improvements with outside vendors and internal resources.
- Utilizes technology to establish operational efficiencies, system improvements and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates with department managers to oversee administration for loan origination system, pricing engine, servicing systems and all mortgage department software applications including user set up, initial systems training and ongoing department resource.
- Researches new and developing technology to understand potential viability within our organization.
- Works with customer base to provide technical support and solutions.
- Member of Mortgage Management Team
- Ability to provide vision, motivation and direction to other team members.
- Builds strategic roadmap that utilizes technology to create digital mortgage solutions for our customers.
- Works closely with mortgage management team to review procedures, enhance efficiencies and provide reporting.
- Provides technology training to internal staff and promotes use of training videos for external use
- Ensures department compliance with audit related to business continuity, vender management and other department technology items
- Works with internal areas in developing mortgage technology budget and cost/benefit analysis
- Develops business case analysis for new and existing vender solutions
- Ensures positive and proactive communication with all vendors
