Morning Ritual

One of them is to write a blog post.

There are days when I’m like “oooh, I want to write about X.”

Then there are days when I can’t think of anything that I need to get out.

I could write about my feelings about Hamas, how sorry I feel for Palestinian civilians who are getting fucked over by Hamas’ actions and paying the price for it, or my feelings of frustration with the moral bankruptcy of American higher education.

But I feel like, no one would understand and few would care, so what’s the point?

But, the ritual of blogging, like meditating, praying, running, and making a smoothie…it’s part of my morning.

So I do it.
