Morning Newsletter: Hope in God's Timing
Waiting is never easy. Whether we are waiting for an answered prayer, a breakthrough, or clarity about the future, the unknown can feel frustrating and discouraging. But hope teaches us to trust in God’s perfect timing, even when we don’t understand His delays.
Lamentations 3:25 reminds us, “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.” This verse doesn’t promise immediate answers, but it does promise that those who place their hope in God will experience His goodness. His timing is never rushed, never late, but always purposeful.
Think of a time when you wanted something to happen quickly, but God said, “Wait.” Maybe at the time, it felt like a setback or a disappointment. But looking back, you might realize that His delay was actually a blessing—perhaps He was protecting you, preparing you, or working behind the scenes in ways you couldn’t see.
Hope in God’s timing is not passive; it’s active trust. It’s choosing to believe that God’s delays are not denials and that He is working all things together for good. It’s in the waiting that our faith is refined, our trust is deepened, and our hearts are aligned with His will.
