Did you hear the birds? I heard them today. Have they always been there? Why haven't I heard them before?

Is it because of the morning alarm and my thought-filled mind as I rush to start the day? Or could it be the flurry of traffic passing by, as people rush along their way?

In the quiet and calm of this quarantine, I am able to hear the morning birds sing. Reflecting on the busyness of our daily business, have we spent our daily lives quarantined in a Silent Spring?
