Having said that you will have champions among you: but it’s hard to know their capabilities and not inadvertently over use them. For example a person who’s well versed in all areas of the property would be used to train others. However do not simply utilize them for this. Do not forget the develop them. This will show your stake and your ability to respect the position.

Our technology needs to be used far more. Gone are the days that there is is a person to double and triple check. We have technological advances such as ALPR which can pump out more stolen vehicles than anyone person placing it in manually. This can be used to streamline the process through the airport on many functions. Exploration and research perhaps.

Airports are places that raise the anxiety of many members of the public. The intense feeling of missing the flight, or attending the wrong end of the airport, or misunderstanding the difference between terminals, or the difference between police and border services can lead to a lot of issues. We must remember that although this happens we must take our time.
