Moretti Lounge at Blackpool Football Club

Last season Blackpool Football Club Launched the new Moretti Lounge in the North West Corner of the stadium. The Moretti Lounge offers fans located in blocks A-M premium bar access pre-match, during half-time and at full-time. With views out over Bloomfield Road this is the perfect place to start your matchday and get behind the Seasiders whilst enjoying a pre-match drink.

We had the pleasure of working alongside the club in producing wallgraphics, window Contravision Graphics, and illuminated acrylic signage for the bar fronts at the time ready for opening.

Last week we added further graphics to the internal corridor that leads into the Lounge from another area in the stadium. The task was to apply graphics to a painted breeze block wall. We spoke to our vinyl suppliers Metamark and agreed on there MDU Metagrab, a material that we had also used on a couple other projects.

After working on some designs with our design team and Adam Marriott we agreed on the below;

Upon approval of the designs we then got to work, printing the graphics on our brand new Mimaki solvent ink printer to get the best colour vibrancy possible. Installation of this material requires specialist applicators and a lot of heat and time, the finished prodcut is well worth the extra time and effort as it almost looks like it is painted onto the brickwork as you can see below;

Adding these graphics to one of the main routes into the lounge not only improves the aesthetics of the area but more importantly it improves the client experience, as soon as they walk through the door they know they are heading to the moretti lounge, the graphics have completely transformed the space.
