More than conquerors
What does COVID mean to you? How has your life changed during COVID?
During this COVID-19 Pandemic season God has blessed me through the pain, unrest, uncertainty, strife, hatred, bigotry and injustice.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39

True Church
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:19-20
Enlarged Territory
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. I Chronicles 4:10
Met Needs
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
Peace
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Purpose
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
I have had a hard time accepting that all things work together for good since the death of my son five years ago due to suicide. I know and believe that God is loving and good, but I do not know how my son’s death can work together for good. I have seen good come during this COVID-19 pandemic, so I guess that God can use this also for good to those that love Him and are called to His purpose. Perhaps if a suicide is prevented because of our willingness to take action then that wood be good. Please be aware, make others aware, show love and kindness to others and use your voice to prevent suicide.
I have been called by God to “Promote the cause of Justice, Humanity and Freedom”. To increase awareness of the individual person that is suffering human trafficking, homelessness, and hunger, in order to end these tragedies.
I have also unfortunately been put in a position to raise awareness that will save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
